Singles File: Dan Bizga

Teacher, Walsh Jesuit High School

>> The perfect date: A destination date to Paris. We would go to my favorite restaurant, Les Philosophes, then stroll down by Notre Dame and take the cruise up to the Eiffel Tower to see the light show.

>> Something most people don’t know about you: I don’t think most people realize how educated I am. I don’t think people realize I have a master’s in bioethics and have done advanced study in French.

>> Biggest turn-on: Someone who has the intellect behind the beauty. They need to have as much fun going out to a nightclub as watching Meet the Press on Sunday morning.

>> I own too many: Ties. Carrie Bradshaw has her shoes — I have my ties. I probably have an Audi in ties.

>> My favorite ... dessert: Pecan pie ... place in Cleveland: I love the beach in Clifton Park. I love walking down there. I just think it’s absolutely beautiful ... bar: I have three. Classy bar: Fahrenheit. For going out and whipping it up: Dive Bar on West Sixth. For hanging out: Around the Corner.

>> My passion: Travel. I feel like it makes me such a richer human being. I think my passion is people, but I express it through travel.

>> My bad habit: Eating buffalo chicken wings

>> My first kiss: During my freshman year at a dance at Magnificat High School. It was to the song Wonderful Tonight at winter formal, and we got in trouble because we didn’t have the Holy Spirit between us
>> Early, late or right on time: Right on time. If I am running late, I call someone —. Eeven if it’s three to five minutes late.

>> I hate when a date orders: My pet peeve is when my date orders something that she does not want just because she thinks it’s cost-appropriate. When I tell someone to order whatever they want, I mean it.

 >> If I could marry anyone it would be: I’d want a cross between the fiery spirit of Maureen O’Hara from The Quiet Man and the beauty and class of Jane Seymour from Somewhere in Time. I want someone that when I’m wrong, they tell me ‘Dan, you’re full of it.’ I think that’s why I’m still single.

>> My No. 1 dating rule: I don’t think it’s appropriate to kiss on a first date.
