Another Time/Another Life

The Wooltex Gallery is showcasing the photographs of Bob Holcepl. Holcepl, primarily self-taught as a photographer, worked as an editorial and advertising photographer for 20 years, retiring from photography in 1990. The work being shown is representative of the 10 years he considers his most productive. Mr Holcepl's work has appeared in local and national publications, and is part of the Cleveland Museum of Art's permanent collection. Returning to the Tower Press represents a bit of a homecoming. Holcepl had a studio on the 4th floor of the building's east wing from 1976 to 1981, when the building still housed primarily industrial tenants. A group of artists later moved to the west wing of the building, beginning its slow transition into an artist space. Proceeds from sales of photos from will benefit the Cleveland Sight Center and The Glaucoma Research Foundation
