AsiaTown Mid-Autumn Festival
Stop by the heart of AsiaTown this weekend to enjoy this autumnal festival full of giveaways and activities. The Pan-Asian festival, which is also known as the "Moon Festival" will feature different crafts for kids such as coloring pages and riddles to celebrate storytelling, while also offering free mooncakes from Koko Bakery. The event will be set up as a bike or walk-thru event and will require masks and follow socially distancing guidelines with visitors six feet apart. Cleveland Heart Walk
Hosted by the American Heart Association, the Greater Cleveland Heart Walk has been reimagined this year into a digital format that is equally engaging, informative and motivational. With different routes available throughout the city such as along the East Bank of the Cuyahoga River, this year’s event will still allow you to walk at your own pace while honoring survivors and raising necessary funds. Just register through the organization’s website and download the Heart Walk Mobile app to stay connected and updated about the event. In addition, the event will also feature an audio journey, hosted by 3 News’ Lindsay Buckingham, which will include music and inspiring stories to keep you motivated throughout your walk. Cleveland International Film Festival’s AGGIE Film Event
We’ve got your next movie night planned out. The Cleveland International Film Festival will be screening a special, online-only showing of the film, Aggie, a documentary about the philanthropic collector, and activist, Agnes Gund and her path to creating her vast collection of contemporary works. The film also reveals other things about the Cleveland-born artist, including her involvement in creating social change in the art world and supporting educational arts projects throughout the years. Codapalooza
Enjoy a crisp fall evening with outdoor music with another performance at Coda this weekend. The venue’s parking lot has been transformed into a live concert stage for many local and out-of-town musicians for the last several months. This weekend, Eric Martin will be hitting the stage for a special acoustic performance and local artist Craig Martini will also play some jams. There’s no better way to celebrate the debut of apple-picking season than celebrating the 246th birthday of Johnny Appleseed himself. The iconic Mapleside Farms in Brunswick will be hosting a weekend event filled with activities, fall-themed treats and even characters from America’s past.
