Boston Mills Artfest II 
 July 5 (preview night), $44 advance, $45 at the door; July 6 & 7, $8, $6 seniors 60 and older, and students 13-21. History: Celebrating its 42nd year, Boston Mills Ski Resort hosts artists in June and July. "People don't expect to see it in the [Cuyahoga Valley] National Park, let alone a ski resort," says Artfest director Ron Beahn. Medina Art in the Park 
 July 21, free History: For 40 years, this Medina County Art League event has raised money to fund scholarships for Medina County children pursuing a degree in the arts. More than 130 exhibiting artists and 15,00 people are expected this year, says Jo-Ann Rettig-Rau, treasurer of the Medina County Art League. Cain Park Arts Festival 
 July 12, free; July 13 & 14, $5 (13 and older) History: Thirty-six years ago, artist Audrey Feinberg convinced Cleveland Heights leaders to host an art festival in Cain Park that maintains quality and budget. "We give them something challenging, beautiful and something they want," says festival director George Kozmon.
