Have a Blast

There's no better way to celebrate our nation's independence than with some patriotic pyrotechnics. Follow our Fourth of July plan, and get your fill of fireworks all weekend long.
July 1: Public Square
During the free Star-Spangled Spectacular with the Cleveland Orchestra, our city's world-class performers play works by John Williams and John Philip Sousa followed by fireworks above Tower City. Downtown

July 2: Independence
This city takes its name to heart with an all-American feast (think hot dogs, hamburgers and ice cream) followed by a 20-minute fireworks display at Elmwood Park. 6800 Brecksville Road

July 3: Progressive Field
After seeing the Cleveland Indians take on the Oakland Athletics, watch the fireworks display from the best seat in the house — the visitors' dugout — for an additional $40. 2401 Ontario St.
