Always Order: Tucker favors the "Danny T" special, or as its known on the menu, the breakfast special, with two eggs, hash browns, bacon and toast for $2.99. Esposito gets a ham and cheese omelet or pancakes.
Counter Talk: "They make you feel like you are part of the family, like you're at home," Tucker says. "It's the 'Cheers of Brunswick.' "

Always Order: For Mickey it's french toast with bacon. Dan gets the egg sandwich.
Counter Talk: "It's an extension of home, and everything is consistently good," Mickey says. "It's the best coffee in town, and it's great service with a smile every morning — everyone who grew up here always comes back."

Always Orders: Scrambled eggs, turkey sausage and hash browns.

Counter Talk: "I have a soft spot for this particular greasy spoon because the service is great, you get a lot for your money, they pour you a lot of coffee, and I've had surprising, neighborly in-depth conversations while dining here."

Always Orders: The No. 1, with bacon, home fries, toast and a cup of coffee.
Counter Talk: "I come here with my father every morning. It's a tradition for us, and they know us here. We don't even have to order — they know it before we sit down."

Always Orders: My breakfast special, which consists of bacon, eggs and wheat toast with the Plain Dealer sports page on the side.
Counter Talk: "Big Al's is in walking distance from my house, and it has great coffee. I come here for my personal waitress who is the bomb. She makes my coffee extra hot just the way I like it."
