Chili Peppers
Chili peppers:
You know how love can make you feel all hot and bothered? That’s what chili peppers do, thanks to their ability to stimulate endorphins. “You don’t have to use hot chili,” says Jill Vedaa, chef and co-owner of Salt. “You can use red pepper flakes, the mildest form, and still get that spice.”

Honey
Honey:
The term “honeymoon” goes back to the fifth century when newlyweds traditionally drank mead — fermented honey and water — during their first stage of marriage. Use honey to add sweetness to dishes. “It has an amazing texture that you don’t have to create like you would with sugar,” says Vedaa.

Pepitas
Pepitas:
These pumpkin seeds are filled with magnesium, which are known to increase testosterone levels. “Pepitas are a great place to start a Spanish-inspired meal,” says Vedaa. “I like them a lot. They are easy to get, and the texture of pepitas adds a crunch to a dish.”
