These days we’re in fan mode — waking up early for tailgates to cheer on the Cleveland Browns with a cocktail in our hands. But we’re also geeking out over the new Molly’s Crafted Smoked Tomato Shrub ($15 for a 16-ounce bottle). Made with fresh tomatoes, parsley, cayenne pepper, celery seed and fresh horseradish, it will easily score you points with your Muni Lot crew. Use it to put a spin on a traditional bloody mary with this easy recipe. “It’s especially popular because you can mix it with tequila or vodka — or you can mix it with a beer,” says founder Molly Smith. “My husband likes it with a beer. It’s one of his favorites.”

  • 2 ounces of Molly’s Crafted Smoked Tomato Shrub
  • 4 ounces of water
  • 2 ounces of tequila, vodka or 12 ounces of beer

Mix all ingredients and serve over ice. Garnish with bacon, olives and celery, if desired.
