And Another Thing

If you watched any 30-minute span of NBC’s coverage of the Winter Olympics, you already know the network has a serialized version of the 1989 Steve Martin movie Parenthood on its spring schedule. But among the ensemble cast, which includes Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls), Peter Krause (Six Feet Under) and Craig T. Nelson (Coach), you may not have noticed our own Monica Potter. We trumpeted Potter’s return to television on TNT’s Trust Me early last year by putting the Cleveland native on the cover and naming her one of our Most Interesting People (January 2009). After visiting her on the set, we were sad to see the show axed from TNT’s lineup at the conclusion of its first season. With a lead-in from The Biggest Loser, Parenthood would seem to have a better chance for survival. But if you want to throw your support behind Potter, tune in Tuesdays at 10 p.m.
