Lean into your county fair dreams with Boujie Bakery’s funnel cake shakes ($8). Owner Autumn Oliver-Blackmon started making the frothy concoctions at her Cleveland Heights bakery in 2019. Inspired by her grandma’s original recipe, the popular shakes have now become a Friday-only special. “I made a funnel cake for the first time, right before I opened the bakery,” Oliver-Blackmon says. “It was something I had just learned to do before opening. I didn’t expect it to be as big as it is.”
Start off by choosing your shake flavor (think salted caramel, green tea and unicorn), which is blended with hand-scooped ice cream, puree or syrup and milk.
