Kneaded’s Pie Pops: Hoping to leave Kneaded as a legacy for her children, Kimberly Nader has been serving up scratch-made desserts including pie pops ($1.50 each). Using a biscuit cutter and a roller, the dough is prepared and the excess fruit fillings from the larger pies — ranging from raspberry to honeysuckle peach — are chopped up and encased before baking.  “Each individual one gets a lot of attention,” Nader says. 1300 Sackett Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, 234-571-5035, facebook.com/kneadedbakeryoh

Stix and Buns Food Truck’s Lobster Pops: A spinoff of the brick-and-mortar Freddie’s Rib House, this food truck specializes in lobster pops ($20-$23). This fried crustacean on a stick combines high-end seafood delicacy with crunchy, on-the-go comfort. “I crack the shell, pull all the meat out of it, but I leave it attached,” says owner Andre Wheeler. The lobster is then fried in a secret batter and served with S and B Thai sauce. 216-702-5049, instagram.com/stixandbuns

White Flower Cake Shoppe’s Cakesicles: Introduced in January, the cakesicles ($4.50 small, $6.50 large) are big hits. Chocolate is first poured into silicone molds and frozen before they’re filled with batter and completed with the other half of the shell. A must-try: the strawberry pink flamingo, a strawberry cake truffle batter. “They’re really Instagram worthy,” says co-owner Marianne Carroll. 2101 Richmond Road, Beachwood, 216-514-2253; 33371 Aurora Road, Solon, 440-394-8049, whiteflowercake.com
