If you’ve ever dreamed of eating your weight in gourmet cuisine a la the TV show Man v. Food, now’s the time to live out your dreams. At The Farmer Butcher Chef Bistro, chef and owner Nicholas Kustala has cooked up a food challenge so deliciously indulgent that only a handful of rare souls can complete it.

The Route 45 Austinburger Challenge is a towering beast with three juicy, half-pound burgers made of ground steak and short rib trimmings in between two fluffy brioche buns and topped with lettuce, tomato and melted cheese and served with a pound of French fries and a frosty Coke float. The catch? You only have 45 minutes to consume the entire meal. If you do, it’s free — and if you don’t, it’s $45.

“Some people break down the burger and do it in steps, and some people just attack it like a T-rex,” Kustala says. “I think you’ve got about half an hour before your stomach sends signals to the brain that says, ‘What are you doing?’ ” 1591 state Route 45, Austinburg, 440-275-5022, thefarmerbutcherchefbistro.com
