Best of Cleveland 2014: Popsicles

Popsicles
You can have your dessert and eat it too - without feeling bad about the ingredients you're consuming. Maggie and Elizabeth Pryor's Chill Pop Shop focuses on artisan popsicles ($3) made using local produce from places such as Fresh Fork Market and Ohio grass-fed dairy from Snowville Creamery. With around 30 rotating flavors - some inspired by various desserts and cocktails and then some oddball, yet tasty, combinations such as sea salt strawberry cream and avocado mint chip - Chill Pop Shop is pushing our frosty popsicle boundaries. "If anyone is willing to try the avocado mint chip, it's the one flavor that people will circle back around and tell us how amazing it was," says Elizabeth. If you get a brain freeze just thinking of choosing a flavor, don't worry. The duo, with their tiny steel pushcart, only brings a curated selection of treats to events such as the Cleveland Flea, says Elizabeth. "If there were all the flavors on the board, I don't know how long the line would be." chillpopshop.com
