Best Of Cleveland: All-Purpose Winery

Can’t decide between a fancy date night and a low-key evening? Matt and Kate Snyder designed their High & Low Winery to be suitable for both. The winery’s upstairs High Tasting Room has a swanky, elegant vibe, outfitted with mirrored tables and ornate crystal chandeliers, while the downstairs Low Tasting Room has a laid-back feel, complete with chairs covered in a cowhide print and the phrase “GET LOW” spelled out in light-up letters across the back wall. “There’s clearly a marked difference in the ambiance and the atmosphere of the two spaces,” says Matt. “It is really, truly just whatever mood you’re in.” There’s a third floor for private events, and all of the wines — such as A Mother-in-Law Who Takes Your Side, an oaky chardonnay ($24 per bottle) — are made just under your feet in an underground wine cellar that runs the length of the building. 588 Medina Road, Medina, 844-466-4456, searchhighandlow.com
