Fuel up on Mama Mary’s Hummus from the unlikeliest of places. Five years ago, Muntaha Dari started making a few varieties of hummus for her son’s deli in the Olmsted Falls Sunoco gas station. When word spread about her delicious made-from-scratch spread, it became a social media sensation and inspired Dari to create more than a dozen other flavors, including pomegranate, chocolate and a snappy dill pickle made from chickpeas, olive oil, tahini, pickle juice and diced pickles. “I always make a small batch for myself to see if I like it first,” says Dari. “I’m always thinking of new flavors.” This fall, don’t miss the pumpkin cinnamon hummus ($3.99 per 8 ounces) made from Libby 100 Percent Pure Pumpkin, honey and brown sugar. “My hummus doesn’t stay in the fridge for a week,” says Dari. “I run out, and it’s freshly made every week.” 9796 Columbia Road, Olmsted Falls, 440-235-0351, instagram.com/mamamaryshummus
