With our love of craft breweries holding strong, we need to have equally good grub to soak up all that alcohol. Masthead Brewing Co. not only has suds that make us swoon, but also offers more than 20 Neapolitan-style pizzas that pull at our heartstrings. “We wanted something that would be fast, but that would make us stand out and pair well with our beer,” says owner Mike Pelechaty. We’ve fallen head over heels for Masthead’s Reuben pizza ($12). Topped with provolone and Gruyere cheeses, tender corned beef, tangy Cleveland Kraut and a house-made Thousand Island dressing, the pie has us simply infatuated with the fun spin on the iconic sandwich. “It’s easy to say that pizza goes with beer,” says Pelechaty. “But just like our beer, we want to offer those classic styles along with things that people never thought they’d see.” 1261 Superior Ave., Cleveland, 216-206-6176, mastheadbrewingco.com
