Think smoothies can’t be healthy, delicious and refreshing? Then you haven’t sipped from Robeks' inspired smoothie menu.

Plus, everything on the menu can be modified says co-owner Sherri Bonamer. “So if somebody’s lactose intolerant or allergic or sensitive to something, there’s really nothing we can’t do with the smoothies.”

Here’s a look at some popular enrichments and supplements to try:

  • Pea protein: Ideal for someone who might be vegan or vegetarian and is looking to make their smoothie more of a complete meal.
  • Bee pollen: The food source of young bees, it is 40 percent protein and beneficial for increased energy and better digestive health.
  • Turmeric: A great addition to fresh juices such as the Root to Stem (kale, celery, spinach, carrot, beets, apple and ginger), this is an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant spice.
