Feel great about the takeout food you’re eating with the options at Anna Harouvis’ cafe that features many vegan or gluten-free items.

If all the yummy takeout you’ve been eating has been having a negative effect on the scale, Anna Harouvis’ Good to Go Cafe is delivering good news. While Harouvis’ Anna in the Raw provides us with the cold-pressed organic juices and smoothies that power us through the day, her downtown Cleveland cafe offerings are an affordable, delicious way to make sure we don’t get the after-lunch lag that comes with heavier fare.

“I’ve always wanted to offer healthy, real, fast food and the lowest price,” says Harouvis. Her nutritious alternatives, many of which are vegan and/or gluten-free, include snackable kale chips, a delectable monk fruit chocolate torte and a vegan, smoked jackfruit sandwich topped with house-made barbecue sauce and a spicy vegan aioli on a pretzel bun.

“I think if you are putting nothing but love into it, people can always taste that,” says Harouvis. “I get excited and I never make anything if I’m in a bad mood, and that really makes all the dif-
ference.”

Try This: The meatball sub ($8.95) features pea protein and air-fried jackfruit covered in house-made marinara and served on a vegan sub roll for a comforting take on the classic.
