This food truck and restaurant may call Akron home, but its inventive menu is a trip around the globe. From the fan-favorite smoked pork ramen made with the Scullery’s own kimchi, to the poutine elevated by a rich, black pepper beef demi-glace, each handcrafted dish is a fresh culinary journey, even if you’re enjoy-ing it in the comfort of your own kitchen.

Situated in the first floor of American Legion Post 19 in Highland Square, it was originally carryout-only before adding a few tables for guests to dine in, making co-owners Matt and Heather Ulichney uniquely qualified to cater your next takeout craving.“We originally built the menus to work well with takeout, so we try to make things that are hardy and stand up to delivery,” says Matt, whose emphasis on handcrafting every ingredient even extends to the eatery’s brioche burger buns and Italian olive oil breads. The Scullery’s storefront will soon be moving down West Market Street into the old Cheese & Chongs location, but fans can always enjoy its entire globetrotting menu via takeout and delivery.

Try This: The Fancy B burger ($13) comes topped with tangy garlic blue cheese cream, crispy potato strings, arugula and sweet pepper jelly.
