South Side gets all the brunch glory in Tremont with a massive bloody mary list and hefty burgers and Benedicts created by executive chef Natasha Pogrebinsky. But its sibling hangout, Hi and Dry, is a weekend morning hidden gem. The bar features a smaller, but equally as satisfying menu. Here, Pogrebinsky taps into a handful of gut-busting favorites such as chicken and waffles ($14), where the cheddar Belgian waffles amp up the savory quota. But we’re smitten with the Patty Melt Down ($13). A towering behemoth of meat, cheese, onions, gravy and pickles,  its crowning achievement is a fried egg that oozes with a confidence you’ll dig and want to dig into. 2221 Professor Ave., Cleveland, 216-566-9463, hianddrycleveland.com
