Why He’s Interesting: Love has no qualms about getting up at 1:30 a.m. for work. The 3News morning reporter has made a career of being on-the-go, covering everything from sports to snowstorms. Since moving to The Land in April 2018, he’s cultivated deep affection for his adopted hometown.

Food Fanatic: One of Love’s favorite segments on the morning show is “NorthEats Ohio,” where he travels to different restaurants such as Swensons Drive-In. “My favorite one was [about] the best tacos in town, in my opinion, at La Plaza Supermarket.”

Time Travel: If Love could interview anyone, he’d sit down with his late grandfather, Art Jacobson, who was blinded in one eye in a farm accident. He memorized the eye chart just so he could fight in World War II. “I would have loved to do a podcast or just an interview with him and capture some of those war stories.”

Brotherly Love: Born in Rockford, Illinois, Love’s the youngest of three. “They say I get away with everything. I wouldn’t go that far, but they definitely broke my parents a little bit before I got there.”

String Theory: He says he’s not the best guitar player, but one of his prized possessions is a Taylor 312ce guitar he’s had since seventh grade. “Whenever I play it, it feels like a little bit of home.”

Work Family: Love’s bromance with 3News morning show anchor Dave Chudowsky makes for must-see TV. The pair even dressed up as Backstreet Boys for Halloween. “In the past month I’ve been recognized more for being a Backstreet Boy on TV than I have been reporter.”

Three and Out:

What’s making you laugh lately?
The Office. I kid you not that I’ve seen every episode — except the ninth season — minimum 20 times.

If your life was a hashtag, what would it be?
#Friendship. I have a core group of friends from home. We’ve known each other since high school. Now we’re 27 and we’re still in a group chat. We talk every day.

What’s your most treasured item?
My dad gave me this watch when I graduated. There was a moment where he wasn’t super pumped up with how I was performing in college. So when he gave me the watch and said he was proud of me, I took that to heart.
