However, its target clientele is not just students: “Basically, everyone within a hundred feet,” laughs general managerSteve Adams. What sets Elements apart is the quality of the food on its breakfast and lunch menus, he explains. Pickwick & Frolic has gotten a bit more bubbly. It recently debuted Ohio’s only bar that exclusively serves champagne. The 12-seat bar features more than 65 different types of champagne and sparkling wines, with prices ranging from $8 for a glass to
$470 for a bottle of Dom Perignon Rosé. But don’t be frightened away, says Pickwick’s marketing director,John Lorince. Flights of three 2-ounce pours start ata very accessible $11. Lorince says the champagne bar is a trend that’s finally making its way to Cleveland. “[They’re] becoming en vogue right now,” he says. So far, the new bar seems to be en vogue with Pickwick’s customers. “The first few weeks, it’s definitely been a good response,” Lorince says. 2035 E.
