Seven titles will headline Playhouse Square’s 2026-2027 Broadway Series, with theater goers able to purchase season ticket packages starting today.

Cleveland has served as a kickoff location for touring casts and their hit shows for the last few years. In 2023, it was The Wiz; this year, it will be the new musical comedy Death Becomes Her.

“We’re ecstatic to usher in a new season with the launch of this remarkable tour at Playhouse Square,” David Greene, senior vice president of programming at Playhouse Square said in a press release. “It’s an honor and privilege to witness a production come to life on our stage and to offer our audiences the first look at what promises to be a fantastic touring show. And the extended rehearsal period delivers a meaningful boost to our local economy in addition to more local hours for the talented work force within our organization.”
