We were all witnesses. If you had the chance to ask Cavaliers general manager Danny Ferry any question the day after the team’s 11th-hour, blockbuster trade that brought four new players to town, would it be about Quicken Loans Arena’s elevators? In a bizarre case of fan cluelessness, the first query during Ferry’s Feb. 22 “Chalk Talk” — a pregame Q&A with season-ticket holders — was from a surly fan who asked why members of the media get a dedicated elevator in the arena, while she has to wait in line for one. Fellow fans booed her question, but Ferry handled the situation with class, explaining that the NBA makes the media a priority. Right back at ya, Danny.
