Sarah Tiefenthaler has advice for anyone still afraid to try paddleboard yoga. “Let it go,” she says. “It’s a safe, fun practice.” The owner and founder of YogAqua in Marina Del Rey, California, visits Cleveland July 7-10 to teach a series of professional and public courses through GroundSwell Collective. Her Sunset Paddle takes off from Edgewater Beach with a 30-minute paddle and includes 60 minutes of vinyasa yoga poses such as sun salutation and crescent or bending to the side. She may even help you with that more advanced knees-on-elbows crow pose. “The best part is you’re outside,” she says. “You feel like you’re experiencing a 90-minute vacation in one class.” 6500 Cleveland Memorial Shoreway, Cleveland, 216-785-7746, groundswellco.com
