Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Purchase $5.35 Million Bratenahl Home

The celebrity couple purchased the home in March, not far from Kelce's hometown of Cleveland Heights.

One of the biggest celebrity couples in the world is putting down new roots in Northeast Ohio. Earlier this year, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift purchased a home in Bratenahl.

The couple's new 3.5-acre estate sits on the shore of Lake Erie. According to county property records, the home, built in 1895, sold in early March for $5.35 million — just a few months before they tied the knot on July 3 in New York City. The Bratenahl home joins the couple's other properties in New York, California, Tennessee and Kansas.

David Ayers and Nick Zawitz of The Agency Cleveland said they were the only agents in the transaction.

"Set on 3.5 acres along Lake Erie, this remarkable Bratenahl estate pairs Gilded Age grandeur with modern luxury," they said in a shared statement. "Meticulously restored original details paired with its exceptional modern amenities has created a truly rare Great Lakes estate. We’re thrilled for the new owners and so excited for Cleveland.”

The news was first reported by the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday evening; the sale shows the couple's continued stake in Northeast Ohio. Kelce has also recently invested in Cedar Point and purchased a minority stake in the Cleveland Guardians.

In other Swiftie news? The couple got a dog: a fluffy Samoyed named Wendy.
