You don’t have to whip up a fancy meal to impress these dinner dates. At the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s Giraffe Encounter, Masai giraffes Jabari, Jhasmin, Jada and Adia aren’t finicky eaters as long as you have romaine lettuce on hand ($2.50 per leaf). But be prepared for some tongue action as these hungry herbivores are known to stick out their 18-inch tongues to slurp up their supper. 3900 Wildlife Way, Cleveland, 216-635-3391, clevelandmetroparks.com/zoo
