We’re all about the remote working trend, but clocking in from home comes with its own set of distractions — like streaming that last 15 minutes of an Orange is the New Black episode instead of emailing the boss.
Thankfully, Ohio City’s Beauty Shoppe coworking space has us feeling focused, with memberships that run from $175 to $3,200 per month. Open 24 hours and sprawling across 12,000 square feet of the historic Seymour Building, the minimalist aesthetic of its offices and meeting spaces look more like something out of Vogue than a cube farm.
“We provide a professional setting that’s still eclectic and artistic and fresh,” says manager Annelise Lopez. The modern design gives the space a feeling of community that remote workers crave, featuring cozy corners with couches, an on-site coffee shop called Foyer and biz-friendly amenities such as Wi-Fi, mail sorting and forwarding and printing.
“It’s super easy to use,” says Lopez, “but also allows for the opportunity to meet other people who live and work in the area,” says Lopez.
