“Have flowers, will travel” is our new motto thanks to Blossom Cleveland’s flower cart, a mobile extension to owner Megan Robinson’s Lakewood shop. Inspired by flower delivery trucks, Robinson started to dream up the idea last year.
Completed in March, the white cart with black trim, which easily sails into just about anywhere pulled by an adorable grown-up tricycle, offers individualized bouquet-making on the spot for guests at birthday parties, weddings, bridal and baby showers (about $1-$3 per stem plus travel fees).
“I wanted to make flowers more of an experience,” Robinson says. “Even if we only have maybe 15 or 20 different varieties on the cart, any two bouquets look absolutely different.”
Roses and peonies are bound to please, but don’t feel limited by the traditional. Robinson is prepared to personalize the cart to fit your occasion. “We’ve done a bridal shower that had a really boho kind of feel,” she says. “So, we did daisies and bunny tails and things like that.” 17008 Madison Ave., Lakewood, 216-512-0700, blossomcleveland.com
