Local handbag designer Blair Ritchey is keyed into fashion and function from her popular Mini Penn Carryall, which comes in a trendy cheetah print, to the Petite Origami Envelope that keeps credit cards, IDs and cash neatly organized.
While we’re fans of carrying her various carryalls, we’re loving her thoughtful accessories, such as the Motel Keyring ($36) that lets you add a personalized pop of color to your collection of keys. Made with a vegetable-tanned leather that changes from light tan to a deep chestnut color after wear, each one is modeled after the nostalgic rounded-diamond shape of a motel ring.
Instead of your room number, opt to have your initials embossed in gold at the top. But the customization doesn’t end there. You can choose from five colors — blush, mint, white, Kelly green and navy — that Ritchey hand-paints in a swoosh at the bottom corner. “My designs, they’re functional luxury,” Ritchey says. “So I get them from things that I want in my life.” blairritchey.com
