Relax: It’s OK to get a little salty.
When you unwind at North Royalton’s Holistic Halo Salt Spa, the mineral shines in each and every therapy treatment, but the real kicker comes with a yoga class ($25).
Staged in a low-lit room featuring one entire wall made of genuine Himalayan salt, the class utilizes a generator to help you cleanse your body of toxins by breathing in ionized salt particles during your Vinyasa flow.
“It’s kind of like ocean air without the humidity,” says owner Lisa Bargmann.
Each class has six guests and is designed to help alleviate a wide variety of issues, such as stress, problems with asthma and skin afflictions, thanks to salt’s ability to kill bacteria and reduce inflammation.
“When you’re doing the deep breath work of yoga, it really just makes it that much more enhanced,” says Bargmann. 12901 State Road, North Royalton, 440-409-7258, hhsaltspa.com
