Pottery
Every great piece of pottery tells a story. It's a sentiment that holds true for B. pottery founder Brittany Hoose. "Relationships inspire me," says Hoose, noting the ring holder she designed for her best friend's recent engagement and beer mugs for her brother. Her Ohio Love collection ($22-$36), which includes red, green and blue earth-toned, Ohio-shaped wall hangings, mugs and coasters that feature a hand-carved heart over Northeast Ohio, is one of her best-sellers. "People love to show pride in their city and where they're from," she says. "It's a good conversation piece." Hoose, who learned her craft at Lakeland Community College, works out of her grandfather's former cabinet workshop where she also makes birdhouses and bowls. "He definitely brings me my good energy," she says. 440-221-5032, bpottery.com
