Sons of Anarchy may be off the air, but that doesn't mean we can't still rock some slick motorcycle style. So we ride to Whiskey Grade, where cool is everywhere you look. The dark, edgy atmosphere of vintage bikes, metal knickknacks and a bank-vault-turned-dressing-room puts a gritty spin on helmets, riding gloves and apparel from established road-ready clothing companies. "Most of the apparel has some sort of functionality," says co-owner and biker Sean Bilovecky. "Whether that's outdoor, camping, motorcycle or fuel-inspired, it goes beyond just a shirt being a shirt." Leather riding jackets from Roland Sands Design hang next to ultra-hip selvedge denim jackets and jeans, and too-cool-for-school plaid button-down shirts from Whiskey Grade's own in-house design collection. The shop also sells a selection of affordable women's vintage goods and hosts a patternmaking studio. It's enough to make us ditch our hatchbacks for hogs. 2515 Jay Ave., Cleveland, 216-600-9303, whiskeygrade.com
