Any seasoned parent has a BS detector that goes off when it sees “fun for all ages.” But Scene 75 — a sprawling 80,000-square-foot entertainment complex with more than 110 games — might just reconfigure that sensor. “We save those individuals from boredom,” says chief entertainment officer Jonah Sandler. “Adults don’t feel like they’re walking into a giant kid’s place.” While the little ones bounce on massive inflatables, mom and dad can sip a craft beer at the center bar or enjoy local fare from four food trucks in Food Truck Alley. But gamers young and old converge on attractions such as virtual reality journeys, a speedy go-kart track, a two-story, glow-in-the-dark laser tag arena and mini bowling lanes. Dad will even have a chance to show the kids whose boss on the mini-golf course, as long as he’s not thrown off by the underwater- and jungle-themed 3-D environments. “It’s like you’re playing golf inside an art gallery,” Sandler says. “The way everything pops off the walls makes you feel immersed.” 3688 Center Road, Brunswick, 234-803-1100, scene75.com/cleveland
