Designed and hand printed at Little Italy’s Snakes and Acey’s, these string-tied canvas totes feature Cleveland-original art, from a detailed street map of the city to “The Land” lettered in bold calligraphy. First introduced in 2016, the booze bags have since found their way to 21st birthday celebrants and 79-year-old grandmothers alike. For the holiday season, the custom print shop swaps out the Cleveland designs for slogans decidedly more self-deprecating, such as, “Sorry He Dumped You.” Booze, sadly, not included. “This is the classy alternative to the brown paper bag I used in high school,” says owner Hannah Manocchio. 2051 Murray Hill Road, Cleveland, snakesandaceys.com
