Don’t think of Pinecrest as a shopping center. The open-air Orange Village lifestyle district is more like our new favorite neighborhood, where you can grab a Neapolitan slice from 3 Palms Pizzeria or meditate in Pinecrest’s Central Park during a free outdoor yoga class. “It’s not a mall,” says Lauren Bosworth, co-owner of locally owned home goods boutique Laura of Pembroke. “It feels like you’re almost in a little downtown.” The 53-acre shopping district’s 45 stores and restaurants include plenty of national giants, including Ohio’s first Shake Shack, but we love ducking into the local shops, whether we’re picking out quirky frames at Eye Candy Optical or getting a blowout at J. Bellezza salon. Stroll the boulevards, break a sweat at Orangetheory Fitness or live luxe at Silverspot Cinema, a decadent movie theater where you can order full meals while watching the reels. Whatever you do, make yourself at home. Pinecrest makes it easy. Park Avenue, Orange Village, 216-514-8700, discoverpinecrest.com
