Stackable rings and bracelets have been on the scene for several years, but now the trend is churning up the wedding world as modern brides-to-be mix metal and diamond bands. “It’s not your traditional, straight wedding band,” says Shane Harmon, sales consultant Kleinhenz Jewelers. “It’s versatile,” he says, explaining why this everyday jewelry is appealing for formal occasions, too. 25979 Detroit Road, Westlake, 440-892-1020, kleinhenzjewelers.com
Here are two ways to wear stackables:
- Mix the Gold. Rather than sticking to white or yellow gold, select interesting stackable bands in different gold colors (rose, too). Kleinhenz’s new line by Turkish designer Lika Behar is handmade and uses 24-karat gold mixed with oxidized silver. “It’s definitely more artsy and contemporary, and the 24-karat gold gives you a really nice color,” says Harmon.
- Add Gemstones. Always popular anniversary, birthday and special occasion gifts, gemstones add spark to stackables. “Go for different shaped gemstones, whether round or oval shape, which we are seeing more of now,” Harmon says.
