Manufacturing and education leaders from across Northeast Ohio came together last month to launch an innovative blueprint for regional success that drives industry talent, technology transformation, innovation and leadership.
Hosted by MAGNET: The Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network just outside its future home on East 63rd and Chester Avenue, the leaders shared a blueprint entitled “Make It Better Ohio” designed to build a prosperous future for manufacturing in the region and showcase some exciting new technologies.
Speakers at the lunch and launch event included Ethan Karp, president and CEO of MAGNET; Stephen Lovass, executive vice president and officer of strategy and corporate development at Nordson Corp.; William Gary, senior executive vice president of Cuyahoga Community College; Shilpa Kedar, executive director, Digital and IoT Innovations at Cleveland State University and executive director of CSU’s T.E.C.H. Hub and co-director of its IoT Collaborative; Baiju R. Shah, president and CEO of Greater Cleveland Partnership and leader of the Cleveland Innovation Project; Bill Koehler, CEO of Team NEO; and Elizabeth Barry, president and CEO of Delta Systems Inc.
