Only have 36 hours in Cleveland? Cleveland Heights natives and pro football stars Jason and Travis Kelce list what to do in the city to make the best of that time in the latest episode of their podcast, the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce.
While Travis is only playing in Cleveland for the second time this Sunday when the Kansas City Chiefs play the Browns, the local duo knows and recommends all the best spots to visit, eat, and drink at.
“Check out the art museum. A great natural history museum, actually, a really good one,” Travis says. “The science [center] is down to this. It’s like the Rock and Roll [Hall of Fame], phenomenal. A lot of museums.”
After a day of visiting the museums, it is best to get a bite to eat and something to drink. Travis recommends TownHall, and Jason says to go to any place serving Great Lakes Christmas Ale.
“This a fun time of year because Great Lakes [Brewery] has come out with their Christmas ale,” says Jason, who works for ESPN after retiring after last season with the Philadelphia Eagles. “Make sure you go to a restaurant that is serving Great Lakes ale. It’s a very Ohio thing. They put like this spice thing on the rim.”
Or better yet, Jason says, “just go to the brewery. They do it at the brewery.”
The brothers also discuss Travis's first time playing in Cleveland years ago and Jason's experience watching his brother play in their hometown.
“I still love Cleveland. It’s such an honor playing back in Cleveland,” Travis says. “It’s going to be a fun day, and hopefully, we can go in there and get into a DOG FIGHT with the DAWG POUND.”
