Kevin S. Adelstein
President, Publisher & CEO, Cleveland Jewish Publication Co.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, The Ohio State University
Favorite Quote: As the English poet Alexander Pope famously wrote, “To err is human,” and one phrase I often live by is, “Control the controllable.” Together, those ideas are a reminder to give grace when mistakes happen while staying focused on the things we can influence and improve.
If I Could Trade Places With Anyone: My son, Cooper
What Motivates Me Right Now: My family, my colleagues and our board of directors at the Cleveland Jewish Publication Co. I’m also motivated by maintaining an optimistic mindset and a sense of hope — believing that even during challenging times, good people, strong leadership and meaningful work can continue to make a positive difference in our community and beyond.
What Would Surprise Someone to Learn About Me: I am sandwiched between two sets of twin brothers — all of us five years apart — from the oldest set of twins to the youngest. We are all the best of friends, thankfully. Our mother is a saint, and our father was the ringleader of our motley crew.
