On Wednesday, February 11, Amazon One Medical and Cleveland Clinic leadership joined Shaker Heights Mayor David Weiss and local community members to officially open their second Northeast Ohio office at 20300 Farnsleigh Rd in Shaker Heights.
The expansion brings One Medical’s innovative and relationship-based approach to primary care to Cleveland's East Side, complementing the Avon office that opened in October 2025.
A Different Kind of Primary Care Experience
One Medical redefines what primary care looks like. The thoughtfully designed office provides a calm, welcoming environment where appointments start on time, allowing patients time to build genuine relationships with their providers and have meaningful conversations about health goals, concerns, and the best path forward.
The office offers comprehensive healthcare services, including preventive care and management of chronic conditions like diabetes, accessible treatment for immediate concerns like cold and flu, and on-site lab services.
For One Medical members in Van Aken, care doesn't stop when you leave the office. The 24/7 on-demand virtual care service connects you with licensed providers via video and message chats for common concerns such as allergies, skin issues, urinary tract infections, and more.
Seamless, Coordinated Care
What makes this collaboration particularly powerful is the seamless connection between primary care and specialty services. When you need to see a specialist, access advanced imaging, or tap into Cleveland Clinic's renowned expertise, that coordination happens smoothly.
"This collaboration gives Northeast Ohio residents more options for how they access primary care while maintaining the quality and coordination they expect,” says James Gutierrez, MD, Chief of Cleveland Clinic's Primary Care Institute. “Our patients benefit from having One Medical as another pathway into comprehensive care, and when they need Cleveland Clinic's specialized services – whether that's cardiology, oncology, or any of our other specialties – those connections happen naturally and efficiently.”
This coordinated approach can lead to fewer duplicative tests, earlier detection of potential health issues, and ultimately, contribute to better health outcomes. It makes it easier to be proactive about your health rather than waiting until something becomes urgent.
Serving the Whole Community
With offices now on both the East and West sides of Cleveland, One Medical is committed to serving residents across the entire region. Whether it’s a young family looking for a pediatric-friendly practice, a busy professional who needs flexible scheduling, or a retiree managing multiple health conditions, the goal is the same: making it easier to get and stay healthy.
One Medical memberships, which covers access to on-demand virtual care services, can be added as a Prime benefit for Amazon Prime members at health.amazon.com/prime for just $9/month or $99/year, or purchased at OneMedical.com. Membership is not required for in-person care or scheduled remote visits. One Medical accepts most major insurance plans.
