All Summer
Mason’s Creamery
Mason’s Creamery makes it easier for you to give into those puppy dog eyes by offering the Pup Cup, a free scoop of ice cream for your pup. Sit, stay and enjoy your sweet treat on the dog-friendly patio that has watering bowls for parched pooches. “Our neighborhood is filled with people walking their dogs all the time, so the more the merrier,” says co-owner Jesse Mason. 4401 Bridge Ave., Cleveland, 216-762-1095, masonscreamery.com

June 7, July 8 & Aug. 15
Bark in the Park

Hit a home run with Fido when the Lake County Captains open Classic Park for you and your pooch. “It’s an opportunity to get out on a nice day to do something a little different from just taking your dog to the dog park,” says Kevin Clements, Lake County Captains account executive. Plus, 30 percent of the proceeds go to a local shelter and an animal rescue. 35300 Vine St., Eastlake, 440-975-8085, captainsbaseball.com

Aug. 25
Mutt Strut

Look out for the pup-arazzi Aug. 25 at the Project Ruffway runway show of adoptable dogs, held as part of the annual Mutt Strut by Lake Humane Society. “It started in the parking lot of Lake Humane 25 years ago and has become this huge dog festival,” says event coordinator Anna Marie Velazquez. “This is a great way to raise money and awareness of homeless animals.” 8800 Euclid Chardon Road, Kirtland, 440-951-6122, lakehumane.org
