Danielle Capotosto’s shop has always been about bringing a smile to someone’s day through her fun and feminine designs.Back in March, she decided to make some masks for donation from old fabric scraps. Since then, she’s sewn more than 2,000 masks after more people started putting in orders. Her designs range from pink flower masks to fun mustache masks, but each one ($15) aims to bring joy in some way. “You know, we’ve got to wear these pieces of cloth on our face so they might as well be fun,” says Capotosto. etsy.com/shop/dippityandsnark

When you see Haley Morris’ work, it screams ’80s mixed with a futuristic aesthetic. The local artist who usually focuses on interior design and bold art installations, has now pivoted to crafting equally funky masks ($12-$16) with patterns that range from red and blue zigzags, technicolor floral, watercolor clouds and more. Plus, they’re made with an elastic band that goes around your neck to avoid sore ears. “I was extremely motivated by the need and demand that there was for masks,” she says. “There couldn’t possibly be too many out there.” memorabiliaproductions.com

Alyssa Sharif co-founded this company with her husband Malik back inFebruary, after being inspired by medicinal work he and his brother have done in Cuba. With a goal of creating a variety of breathable, 100% cotton masks that fit any occasion — maybe you’re into a glitter cherry mask — each one is hand-sewn ready to order for pick-up or delivery. “It’s just a really beautiful feeling to know that with one little piece of fabric, you’re able to bring so much livelihood and joy,” says Sharif. instagram.com/ubuntumaskcle
