Turning heads is all we do. Especially now that we’re regularly rocking Willow Elizabeth’s leather earrings ($12-$20). The 2017-founded Sandusky jewelry company’s earrings, made with a sturdier leather that doesn’t bend as easily, come in a variety of styles and sizes such as a teardrop-shaped tie-dye pair and a geometric set in vibrant mustard yellow, making them a snap to buy as a gift for a loved one (or yourself).

“Mainly, the attraction [to leather] is just because it is so lightweight and durable,” says co-owner Kelly Slater. She handcrafts each of Willow Elizabeth’s nearly 70 leather styles, which also include stud earrings, with business partner and best friend Sarah Opfer. While some pairs also incorporate gold, silver, cork or wood, they all have some element of statement-making leather, which Opfer and Slater decided to use to make earrings on a whim before a trip to Las Vegas.

“My friend that lived there was like, ‘Oh my gosh, those are so cute, I would totally buy a pair,’ ” Slater says. “When we got back, we just started creating more and more.” 419-202-1707, willowelizabeth.com
