Cleveland Tea Revival Amber Pompeii is all about giving her customers choices. While her Hingetown tea shop offers plenty of organic blends to sip, it also serves a variety of toasts ($5) on five different breads from Stone Oven. Try either the herb or rose focaccia with spread-your-own smashed avocado on the side. She recommends adding Mackenzie Creamery goat cheese for $1 more. "They blend really well together," she says. 1434 W. 29th St., Cleveland, 216-795-5099, clevelandtearevival.com

Helio Terra Vegan Cafe This all-vegan cafe keeps our love for avocados alive with its version of avocado toast ($4). A spread, made with avocado, sprouted mung beans, Roma tomatoes and an in-house cumin spice blend, is slathered on sprouted-grain bread for a healthy morning pick-me-up. "The more raw or live your food is, the more life force you're getting out of it," says head chef Austin Ruesch. 619 Prospect Ave., Cleveland, 216-664-0929

Restore Cold Pressed Topped with smashed avocados, cracked pepper, Himalayan pink salt, heirloom tomatoes, lemon juice and extra-virgin olive oil, this toast ($5) tastes good and — thanks to the probiotic bread — is a smart nutritional choice. "The proof is in the pudding," says co-owner Adam Wright. "People like consuming something that not only tastes good but it's also good for you and it's something you enjoy eating." 1001 Huron Road, Cleveland, 330-806-3893, restorecoldpressed.com
