Holy cannoli — for real. Eating a decadent cannoli from Rito’s Italian Bakery is already such a religious experience that ordering its Gigantic Cannoli ($79.98) is reserved for the most devoted. A creation of family patriarch Santo Rito, three-dozen regular-sized cannoli are nestled into a large cannoli outer shell crafted with a special mold commissioned just for the occasion. Santo passed on the cannoli craft to his children, Jim and Anthony Rito, and Anna Ciancibello. They make the regular cannoli dad’s way: paper-thin dough rolled into shape and deep-fried, and then filled with a rich whipped ricotta and chocolate chip filling. While the divine display is meant for weddings and parties, we pray for them to show up at office meetings, birthday parties and more. “It’s a party waiting to happen, when you walk in with that,” says Ciancibello. 1930 Pearl Road, Brunswick 330-220-3103, ritosbakery.com
