The Big Squeeze is officially a juice-making machine that accommodates 88 sizes of oranges and operates seven days a week at Fresh Thyme Farmers Market. Orange juice is the store’s best-selling juicer and the favorite of manager Neal Farren. But Fresh Thyme also sells 13 other kinds of freshly squeezed juice in 16-, 32- and 64-ounce bottles.   

“We have freshly squeezed pure juice you won’t find anywhere else,” says Ferren. “That includes beet juice, celery juice, watermelon and pear juice made from Bartlett, Bosc and D’Anjou pears.”

Ferren is especially proud of Green Thyme — a concoction of kale, spinach and cucumber in apple and lemon juices. Red Thyme is similar, except think beets. Those products can be enjoyed on their own, but many customers also buy them as part of their juicing routine. 

“People add Green Thyme to their juicer. It saves takes time and effort. And you get all your vitamins for the day in a glass, says Ferren, adding that products contain no preservatives.  

Customers can do their own home squeezing with the same varieties of high-quality fruits and vegetables found in the produce department.
