Why He’s Interesting: When most kids his age are still figuring out what they love, Brady Lewandowski is already chasing his racing dreams full throttle. The rising go-kart driver won the cadet championship at Quaker City Karting in 2025 and made the podium in 85% of his races this past year. With an eye toward the International Motor Sports Association — North America’s top professional sports car racing series — he’s proving that talent and dedication know no age limit.

Born to Race: Lewandowski’s passion for speed started early. “I was 5 years old when I got my first kart for Christmas. I’ve always loved cars and racing. My first race was at an IndyCar event at Mid-Ohio when I was 6 months old.” Growing up, he watched his dad and uncle race enduro karts and spent hours pretending to drive.

Track Life: His race days start at sunrise and stretch into the evening. “I get up at 5 a.m., head to the track with my dad, practice, qualify and race. After the podium ceremony, we pack everything up and head home — and most nights, I still jump on my simulator to race some more.” This past season alone, he raced in 20 events and took home trophies from both Pitt Raceway and Quaker City Karting.

Learning Journey: Like any racer, Lewandowski learned some lessons on the track. “One race, we forgot to tighten one of the wheels, and it came off on the first lap. I learned to always double-check everything on the kart before a race.”

Full Speed Ahead: Lewandowski looks up to F1 champion Max Verstappen and dreams of joining the International Motor Sports Association. “I love road courses like Mid-Ohio and Pitt International. I just want to keep getting better every time I’m on the track.” He loves hanging out with friends, fishing or heading to Cedar Point for another adrenaline rush.
