Downtown Cleveland is one step closer to ridding itself of another surface parking lot.

Today, Michigan-based company City Club Apartments broke ground at 776 Euclid Avenue on a 23-story mixed-use development that will bring more than 300 new apartments, a coffee shop and restaurants to the corner of Eighth Street. Construction is set to begin later this month and to be completed in spring 2023.

With a hotel apartment concept, the building will offer rent for a day, week, month or year. Residents can look forward to 24/7 concierge, a parking garage with 140 spaces, rooftop pool, a gym/wellness center and co-working spaces. The building features 22 distinct floor plans that range from studio to penthouses. Plank flooring, Shaw carpets, granite countertops, bay windows and French balconies add the boutique hotel-influenced luxury style. Residents can also enjoy an outdoor sky park with fire pits, grilling stations, game areas and zen garden, as well as in-house social programming.

Public facing amenities are coming, too, including a coffee shop, 24/7 doggy daycare and restaurant with outdoor space and a speakeasy.

“I expect many downtown apartment residents and those considering downtown living will rethink their lease and housing situation after this announcement,” says Holtzman.“As developers, owners and managers, we have a responsibility to deliver and operate communities that reflect the needs and wants of our customers today. They deserve great homes, amenities, services and hospitality and we take that responsibility very seriously. Those registering their interest between now and pre-leasing will secure their position on the waiting list and receive exclusive updates.”
