At first glance, the ingredients in Condado Tacos’ Plain Jane taco look, well… plain.

The ingredients, consisting of chicken, fajita peppers, lettuce, tomatoes and cheddar cheese, read more like a grocery list than the makings of a unique taco.

Once you get a bite of it, however, you’ll never be able to look at those simple ingredients the same way. The flavor starts on the outside with a crunchy cool ranch hard shell that provides a burst of flavor before you even get to the fixings.

The chicken is the star of the show, as it’s marinated to perfection, making it a great pair with an Ohio smoked cheddar cheese.

Add to that a heaping portion of fresh veggies and a plentiful topping of Condado’s house-made salsa verde and you’ve got one of the area’s freshest (and tastiest) tacos.

“It’s a lighter taco that gets straight to the point,” says Condado’s assistant regional manager Tony Smith Jr.
